competition between Middle East restaurant and Bab Al-Yemen..!!

Competition between Middle East restaurant and Bab Al-Yemen..!!

5 months ago and after BAB ALYEMEN restaurant was a monopolistic in Serdang state , it has encountered a very complex situations at the business environment in terms of the high  competition .Mahmood who is the owner of the restaurant  investigated external identification that restricted his work in the restaurant.

Mahmood noticed the high leave of the students to the alternative competitor .such those challenges happened  due to the extra service delivered by the Middle East, in addition to that is the employees empowerment with very high experience.

“Our target operation will be mainly distributed   internationally instead of localization; we are going to provide the business with several expert labors with very high English skilled in order to ease the contact with the customers. The reason behind that strategy is that Yemeni students limited with study period probably they stay 5 years and then they leave. Above of that, students sometimes get financial issues related to their late salaries receive”. Middle East CEO said.

The analysts before doing business analysis they should be familiar with the competitive advantage of both restaurants. BAB ALYEMEN use just in time delivery strategy and maintaining customer relationship. In contrary, Middle East has many workers and it has variety of products in accordance with the differentiation distribution strategy compared with the BAB ALYEMEN where the niche strategy takes place. To some extent, both companies they share the same labor structure. Each of the companies has diversity of workers with 10% maids.

Currently, Yemeni student is the king of this game and he is the only one who can be involved in the evaluation processes. I would like to say that Yemeni student’s evolution focus mainly on the price of the service or product and time element comes later on.

Middle East restaurant is more forward to being technology for the payment bill and the customer orders. Such technology usage in the restaurant definitely makes the product is  more reliable rather than doing manually. In order for BAB ALYEMEN to fight and to sustain in the market it should be more updated with the technology besides the differentiation strategy. To conclude as Yemenis say “our evolution usually in terms of the price and the delivering time”.
